Mr. L. J. Johnson of Miami Fla. His Parent Mr. Mathew Sr. and Mrs. Ida Mae Johnson of Ocilla. One sister Ms. Jennifer Johnson of Ocilla. One brother Mr. Douglas Johnson of Ocilla Georgia. A host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends. 

Mr. Clarence Mack Sr.

Family and friends of the late Mr. Clarence Mack Sr. will regret to learn of his death.  Funeral services for Mr. Mack will be held on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Phillips Baptist church located at 505 East 5th. street in Ocilla Georgia.  Rev. Tommie Washington is pastor, Rev. Ronald Dixon will officiate, Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery.  Mr. Mack will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla from Friday morning 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Saturday morning until the funeral hour.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.

Ms. Jalessa Renee Collins

jalessa collinsThe family and friends of the late Ms. Jalessa Renee Collins age 25 of Ocilla Georgia will regret to learn of her death on Friday morning in Ocilla.  Ms. Collins is survived by the mother Mrs. Janice Collins of Ocilla; sisters, Ms. April Jackson, and Ms. Chandra  Reid of Ocilla.  Grandmother Mrs. Flora Nell Gaskins of Ocilla; Aunts and uncles, Mrs. Phyllis and Mr. Kenneth Edwards of Ocilla, Mrs. Deborah Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Wilma Reid, Mrs. Annette Edwards, Mrs. Patricia Goolsby, Ms. Ola Mae Reid, Mr. Carree Gaskins and Mr. Alfred Reid all of Ocilla Georgia.  Great aunts Mrs. Mary Young and Mrs. Udell Hall of Ocilla, a host of nieces, nephews, cousin  and sorrowing friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Jalessa Renee Collins will be held on Saturday February 28, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Irwin County High School Gym in Ocilla, Ga.  The pastor Rev. James C. Curtis will officiate with interment following in the Ocilla city cemetery on Valdosta Ave.  Ms. Collins will lie in state on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Saturday 10:00A.M. until the hour of the funeral at the Davis Funeral Home In Ocilla.

Mrs. Blanche Middlebrooks

MiddlebrooksThe friends and family of Mrs. Blanche Middlebrooks age 104 of Ocilla Georgia will regret to learn of her death at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Willie Fred Walker of Ocilla, surrounded by family members.

Mrs. Middlebrooks is survived by her children: Mr. Rhubinell Middlebrooks of Ocilla, Mr. Joe and Irma Middlebrooks of San Francisca Ca., Mrs. Willie Mae Anderson and Mrs. Evelyn Harris of Hattiesburg Ms., Mrs. Dorletha Merritt and Mrs. Glenda and Willie Fred Walker of Ocilla Georgia. Also Twenty Nine grandchildren, Seventy One Great grandchildren and a host of Nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends, including a special friend Mrs. Gussie Phillips of Ocilla.

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Middlebrooks will be held on Saturday February 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist Church 215 East. 7th. Street of Ocilla. The Pastor Rev. James Curtis will officiate, interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery. Mrs. Middlebrooks will lie in state on Friday morning 10:00.A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla, and Saturday morning until the hour of the funeral. The Davis Funeral Home of Ocilla is in charge of all arrangements.

ThelmaSneedThe family and friends of the late Ms. Thelma Sneed of 502 East Sixth Street of Ocilla Georgia will regret to learn of her death on Tuesday at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton Georgia. Thelma leaves to cherish her memories: Her beloved son, Rev. Rodney James Sneed of Detroit, Michigan; three granddaughter: Paula (Myron) Murray of Nashville, TN, Rodlescia Sneed of Pittsburgh, PA & Tracey Sneed of Detroit, MI; two great grandchildren: Tyrese Sneed of Detroit, MI and Kendall Murray of Nashville, TN; one devoted sister: Selma Litman of Ocilla, Georgi;, one sister-in-law: Hazel Sneed of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Thelma Sneed of Ocilla will be held on Sunday January 18, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist Church 215 East 7th. Street, Ocilla Georgia, where Rev. James C. Curtis is Pastor. Her son Rev. Ronnie J. Sneed will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the Ocilla Cemetery.

Ms. Sneed will Lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla from Saturday morning 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Sunday until the funeral hour. The family repass will be held at the community house on South Irwin Ave. following the committal service .
