Born Sept. 18, 1940 in Irwin county Ocilla Georgia to the late Charlie and Jennie Mae Roger. Ms. Rogers passed into eternal rest on Monday April 24, 2017 at Fitzgerald Life care center in Fitzgerald Georgia. She leaves to cherish her memories, Two brothers: Mr. Joseph Rogers of Ocilla Georgia, and Mr. Daniel Rogers of Queens New York. also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends. Services for Ms. Lillian Rogers will be held on Saturday April 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the chapel of the Davis funeral home in Ocilla. Rev. Nathan Bathell will deliver the Eulogy. On June 10, 1941 in the small community of Ocilla Georgia, Annie Mae "Lil Sister" Laster was born to the late William "Will" and Rebecca "Becky" Laster. She attend the Irwin county school system, and remain in the community all of her life. Ms. Laster was well loved by her friends and family. Ms. Laster departed this life at her home in Ocilla surrounded by family and friends on April 15, 2017. Along with her parent, Ms. Laster was preceded in death by her son: Mr. Horace Laster, three sisters: Ms. Abbie Laster, Ms. Mamie Laster and Mrs. Elizabeth Meddler also one brother: Mr. A.C. Laster Sr. Annie Mae enjoyed working in her yard, crossword puzzles and watching western movies.
