Mr. Jeffery Devine

With sadness in our hearts the Davis Funeral Home of Ocilla Georgia announces the Death and funeral services for Mr. Jeffery Devine of 111 Madison Ave.  Fitzgerald Georgia, on Monday September 5, 2016 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald Georgia. Born March 26, 1963 to the late Mr. James Devine and Mrs. Macie Devine.

   

Mr. Devine is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Mrs. Gloria Devine of Fitzgerald, Georgia.  Their children;  Mr. Lazarus Carver Sr. (Michelle) of Fitzgerald Ga., Ms. Sonya Carver of Fitzgerald Ga., Mrs. Lureatha Echols of Valdosta Ga.  His mother:  Mrs. Macie Devine of Ocilla Ga.  Sisters:  Mrs. Helen Colbert of Savannah GA., Ms. Janice Devine, Mrs. Amelia (Donnie) Smith, Ms. Catherine Lewis, all of Fitzgerald GA.  Brothers:  Mr. Jerry Devine, and Mr. Darryon (Keisha) Devine of Fitzgerald GA., Mr. Dexter (Neshika) Devine of Augusta Ga.  Two god children:  Ms. Shanda Robinson of Ocilla GA., and Ms. Monica Edwards of Ashburn Ga. 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and a host of sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and sorrowing friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Jeffery Devine will be held on Saturday September 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. from the New Life community Church Center located at 123 Sawyer Drive in Fitzgerald, Georgia where the Rev. Bennie Calloway is pastor.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery in Ocilla Georgia.  The Eulogy will be delivered by Rev. Bernard Collier of Tifton Georgia.  Mr. Devine will Lie in State at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning 10:00 until 7:30 P.M. and Saturday morning at the Church 11:00 A.M. until the Funeral hour.  The family will receive friends at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday Evening from 6:00 until 7:00.  The Davis funeral Home Of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
