Mrs. Nettie Mae Martin Gainer

Mrs Nettie MaeWith sincere sympathy the Davis funeral home of Ocilla Georgia announces the death and funeral services for the late Mrs. Nettie Mae Martin Gainer. 

Born April 6, 1930 to the late Sonny  and Effie Floyd Martin.  Mrs. Gainer was married to  Mr. Charlie Gainer Jr. who preceded her in death.  A member of the Pleasant Grove missionary Baptist church, where she served as a senior usher and Senior mission society.  Mrs. Gainer quietly departed this life Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas Georgia. 

She is survived by her daughter:  Mrs. Betty (Eddie) Baity of Douglas Georgia.  Five sons: Mr. Jerry (Terri) Martin Sr., Mr. Johnny (Sheila) Martin Sr., Mr. Richard (Cassie) Martin, Mr. Alfonso (Aquanetta) Roberts Sr., and Mr. Tony (Yolanda) Roberts.    Two grandson that she reared as her own: Mr. Ricky Gainer and Eric Jones.  Nineteen Grand children, Several Great grand children and Great Great grandchildren.  One brother-in-law: Mr. William B. Gainer.  Four sister-in-laws:  Mrs. Florence Clowers, Mrs. Amanda Gainer, Mrs. Frances Moore and Mrs. Hattie Ruth Dennard.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends also survives.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nettie Mae Martin Gainer will be held on Saturday September 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist located at 215 East 7th street in Ocilla Georgia where the Rev. James C. Curtis serves as pastor.  The pastor will deliver the eulogy interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery.  Mrs. Gainer will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla from Friday morning 10:00 until Friday evening 7:00 and Saturday until the funeral hour.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements
