Mr. Eddie Mack

Eddie MackWhere he leads me, I will follow.  I'll go with him all the way.  I go with him over the mountain, I'll go with him, through the valley.  I go with him, I'll go with him,  I'll go with him all the way.  With heart felt  sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death of Mr. Eddie Mack of Thomasville Georgia.  Born October 30, 1958 in Ocilla, Irwin county Georgia to the late Mrs. Myrtice Dunnom Mack and the late Mr. Rubie Lee Mack.  Mr. Mack departed this life on Sunday May 23, 2021 at his home in Thomasville Georgia.  He is survived by his children: Mrs. Marsikova and Mr. Demetrius Laster of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Tequilla and Mr. Eric Anderson of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Melanie Mack of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Lionel Reid of Ocilla Georgia, and Ms. Tiffany Reid of Valdosta Georgia.  Siblings:  Mr. Anthony and Mrs. Levise Mack of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Mr. Clarence Mack and Mr. Freddie Mack both of Ocilla Georgia along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A home going celebration for Mr. Eddie Mack is planned for Saturday June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery 700 North Oak street in Ocilla.  Rev. Randy Shelly will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Mr. Mack will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:30 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Mack family.

Juanita FullerI heard the voice of Jesus say, come unto me and rest.  Lie down thy wearied one lie down, thy head upon my breast.  I came to Jesus, as I was, wearied, wounded and sad.  I found in him a resting place, and he has made me glad.   With sadness in our heart, the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death and homegoing celebration for Ms. Juanita Fuller of 185 Bob White Lane, Ocilla Georgia.  Born May 4, 1973 in Ocilla, Irwin county Georgia to the late Mrs. Evelyn Darden Fuller and Mr. Alphonso Fuller Sr.  Ms. Fuller departed her life here on earth on Sunday May 16, 2021 at Pruitt health care center in Atlanta Georgia. 

Ms. Jenifer Wynn Laster

Ms. Wynn is survived by her children: Mr. Demetrius and Mrs. Marsikova Laster, Ms. Jessica Laster, and Ms. Dedrous Laster, all of Ocilla Georgia.  Grandchildren:  Demetrius Laster Jr., Amanda Battle, Marcus Byrd, Jalisa Washington, Lelsey Laster, Andrew McRoy, Koriana Dunlap, KeAsia Freeman, Kenslie Laster, Sayvonia Edwards, Ashley Riley.  Siblings:  Ms. Susan Wynn of Fitzgerald Georgia, Ms. Charlene Wynn of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Michelle and Mr. Hopson Williams of Ashburn Georgia, Mr. Lama and Mrs. Misty Martin, Mr. Bernard Martin, Mr. Timothy and Mrs. Kris Martin, Mr. Anthony Martin, Mr. Steve Martin, Mrs. Rachel and Mr. Stacy Davis, Mr. Chris and Mrs. Shelby Martin, Mr. Nicholas and Mrs. Misty Martin, all of Douglas Georgia, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Ms. Jennifer Wynn Laster is planned for Saturday May 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Minister Corey Wynn will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Ms. Laster will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:30 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Wynn and Laster families.

Ms. Samiyah Iyannah Farley

Samiyah FarleyJesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.  Little ones to him belong, they are weak, but he is strong.  Yes Jesus loves me! yes Jesus loves me! yes Jesus loves me!  For the Bible tells me so.  With sadness in our heart.  The Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death and homegoing celebration for Ms. Samiyah  Iyannah Farley, 100 North College Street, Ocilla Georgia.  Born August 13, 2009 in Tifton Georgia to Ms. Latonia Woodard of Ocilla and Mr. Bradon  Farley of Tifton Georgia.  Samiyah went home to join her heavenly father on Friday May 7, 2021 at the Irwin county hospital in Ocilla Georgia.  In addition to her parent, Samiyah is survived by her siblings: Jaquasia Noshja Woodard of Ocilla and Azia Farley of Tifton Georgia.  Grandparent: Ms. Shelia Woodard of Ocilla, Ms. Linda Farley and Mr. Steve Farley of Tifton,  Mr. John Lampkin of Fitzgerald Georgia. and Mr. Joseph Woodard of Ocilla. Also surviving is a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A home going celebration for Ms. Samiyah Farley is planned for Tuesday May11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave, in Ocilla.  Pastor Donna Prather will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Samiyah will lie in state of Monday morning 10:30 until 6:00, at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Woodard and Farley families.

Mrs. Debra and Mr. Walter Cooney of Palm Bay Florida, and Mr. Dexter Green of Ocilla Georgia.  Several siblings, brother and sister in laws, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Albertha Wilson Green is planned for Saturday May 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Pastor Travon Simmons, pastor of the New Beulah Baptist church of Wray Georgia will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Mrs. Green will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning 10:30 until 6:00 p.m.  Please join us as we continue to pray for the Wilson and Green families.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
