Betty PresleyWhat a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief to bear.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Ms. Betty Dyous Presley.  Born July 19, 1963, in Ocilla Georgia to the late Mrs. Mae Frank Walker Dyous and the late Mr. George Dyous Sr.  Ms. Presley entered into eternal rest on Monday January 8, 2024, at Memorial hospital in Savannah Georgia.  She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters:  Ms. April Thomas, Ms. Christy Dyous both of Ocilla Georgia and Ms. Tiffany Harris of Warner Robins Georgia.  Siblings: Ms. Carrie Mae Dyous of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mrs. Annnie Kate and Mr. Randolph Ellis, Mrs. Jeanette Dyous of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Gloria Freeman, Ms. Diane Manning of Douglas Georgia, Mrs. Brenda and Pastor Donnell Robinson of Statesboro Georgia, Mr. George Dyous Jr. of Albany Georgia, and Mr. Murray Lee Dyous of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Several grandchildren along with a host on nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Ms. Betty Presley is planned for Sunday January 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Empowerment Temple Church of God By Faith 601 North Oak Street in Ocilla, Where Rev. Kenneth Moore served as pastor and will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Ms. Presley will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Saturday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Dyous and Presley families.
