Willie Morris WhiteAm I a soldier of the cross?  A follower of the lamb?  And shall I fear to own his cause, or blush to speak his name?  Must I be carried to the skies on flow-er beds of ease?  While others fought to win the prize, and sail thru bloody seas.  Sure, I must fight, if I would reign.  Increase my courage, lord.  I'll bear the toils, endure the pain, supported by thy word.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death of Mr. Willie Morris White Jr. of 401 West 5th. street of Ocilla.  Born February 2, 1965, in Ocilla Georgia to the late Mrs. Louvinia Bryant White and the late Mr. Willie Morris White Sr.  Mr. White received God's call to his eternal home on Monday March 11, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical center in Tifton Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings: Ms. Willie Denise White, Mrs. Louvinia and Mr. Albert White, and Ms. Ann White all of Ocilla Georgia.  Mr. Buster and Mrs. Cynthia White of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Nine Aunts, Four uncles, along with a host of In-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Home going celebrations for Mr. Willie Morris White Jr. will be held on Saturday March 23rd. 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. John Baptist church on Stilla road in Wray Georgia, where Rev. Herbert Coney serves as pastor.  Rev. Randy Shelly will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave, in Ocilla.  Mr. White will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, on Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:00 until 12:00 noon. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the White and Bryant families.
