Mrs. Johnson finished her earthly journey on Sunday December 24, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center, in Tifton Georgia. She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Mr. Douglas and Mrs. Rhonda Johnson of Tifton Georgia, Ms. Betty Johnson of Miami Florida, Ms. Jennifer Johnson and Mrs. Precious Blanding of Ocilla Georgia and Ms. Jamie Blanding of Atlanta Georgia. A grandson that she raised Mr. Kenneth (Candace) Johnson. Siblings: Mrs. Roxie Davis of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Anne White of Ocilla Georgia, and Mr. Buster White of Fitzgerald Georgia. along with a host of brother and sister in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A home going celebration for Mother Ida Mae George Johnson, is planned for Saturday December 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from the Greater Grace Temple on East 4th. street in Ocilla. Her pastor Elder Calvin Ross will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.
