Eric BattleWhat a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bare.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  It is with deepest sympathy, the Davis Funeral Home, 301 North Oak Street Ocilla, Georgia   31774, pause to announce the Death and home going celebration for Mr. Eric Lakeith Battle Jr., of Richmond Hill Georgia formerly of Fitzgerald Georgia.   Born September 5, 1992, in Fitzgerald Georgia to Ms. Kisha Rogers and Mr. Eric Lakeith Battle Sr.  Mr. Battle received God's call to his everlasting home on Saturday October 5, 2024, in Savannah Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother: Mrs. Mrs. Kisha M. Jones, Richard Hill, Georgia, Father: Mr. Eric Lakeith Battle Sr. of Fitzgerald Georgia. Stepmother: Mrs. Lakeshia Jackson of Jonesboro Georgia.  Grandmothers: Mrs. Evelene Battle of Fitzgerald Georgia and Mrs. Vasser King.  His children: Josiah E. Battle and Joelle P Griffin Battle both of Savannah Georgia.  Siblings: Michal Evans, Carlisle Martika Evans and Aleja Ayala Evans all of Carlisle Pa., Gabriellen Battle of Columbus Georgia, Cameron Battle of Albany Georgia, Jarious Battle, Tyuavious Bolden and Quaneshia Bentley all of Jonesboro Georgia.  His best friend: Tanisha Thomas (Peanut) of Savannah Georgia, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Eric Lakeith Battle Jr. is planned for Saturday October 12, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. from The Temple of refuge Church of God By Faith 700 East Altamaha Street, Fitzgerald, Georgia where the pastor Elder Charles Andrews will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. Ocilla Georgia.  Mr. Battle will lie in state at the Davis Funeral home in Ocilla on Friday12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m., and Saturday morning 10:00 until 12:00 noon.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
 
 

Mr. Wiley Alfred Tucker Sr.

Wiley TuckerThere is a name I love to hear; it sounds so sweet to me.  It sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest name I know.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia. pause to announce the death of Mr. Wiley Alfred Tucker Sr. of West Palm Beach Florida, formerly of Ocilla Georgia.  Born December 31, 1948, in Ocilla Irwin County Georgia.  Mr. Tucker entered into eternal rest on Saturday October 5, 2024, at Good Sarmatian Hospital in West Palm Beach Florida.  His mother Ms. Lelia Tucker preceded him in death.  He leaves to cherish his memories:  his son: Mr. Wiley Alfred Tucker Jr. of Tifton Georgia. His siblings: Mr. Jefferd Tucker, Ms. Lasandra Tucker and Mrs. Faye Tucker Weeks all of Atlanta Georgia.  Mrs. Nettirene Johnson, Mrs. Elaine Hicks, Mrs. Virginia White, and Mr. Michael White along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Wiley Alfred Tucker Sr. is planned for Saturday October 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the New Bethel Baptist church, 401 East 7th. Street Ocilla, where Apostle Olrick Bethel will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist church cemetery, Pleasant Grove church Road in Irwin County.  Mr. Tucker will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.

It is with deep sadness, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death and home going celebrations for Mrs. Linda Elizabeth White Hall of Ocilla Georgia.  Born March 7, 1956, in Osierfield Irwin county Georgia, to the late Mrs. Mary Etta Reed White and the late Mr. Otis White.  Mrs. Hall received God's call from labor to reward on Saturday morning September 21, 2024, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. Mrs. Hall leaves to cherish her memories her children: Dr. Lamond Hall of Ocilla Georgia and Mrs. Felicia Hall Wilcox of St. Johns Florida.  Her siblings: Mrs. Patricia White McAllister and Mrs. Barbara Ann White (Clarence) Robinson all of Douglas Georgia.  Minister Frank White and Mr. Eddie James White of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Linda White Hall is planned for Saturday September 28, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. from the Midway Missionary Baptist Church Highway 32 East in the Holt community of Irwin County, where Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor.  Rev Dr. Stanford L. Anderson I will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. Ocilla.  Mrs. Hall will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the White and Hall families. The Davis funeral home where service extends beyond the service.

Born December 27, 1937, in Ocilla Irwin County Georgia, Mr. Members received God's call from labor to reward on August 24, 2024.  A celebration of life for Mr. Members will be held on Saturday September 21, 2024, at 12:00 noon from the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gotha Florida 34734.  Graveside committal services will be held on Monday September 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla Georgia.  Rev. Charles Andrews will deliver word of comfort and committal.  The Davis Funeral home of Ocilla has charge of local arrangements.

Jesus saves and keeps me, He's the one that I adore.  Every day with Jesus, is sweeter than the day before.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral Home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebrations for Mr. Willie Fuller of 888 Carswell Street, Homerville Georgia.  Born June 19, 1953, in Ocilla Irwin County Georgia to the late Mrs. Lottie Mae Martin Young and the late Mr. Newton Young.  Mr. Fuller received God's call to his eternal home on Wednesday September 4, 2024, at his home in Homerville Georgia.  Mr. Fuller leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 50 years: Mrs. Bobby Ann Hall Fuller of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Their children: Mr. Reginald Hall, Mr. Kendra Fuller, Ms. Jennifer Fuller Tumbling, all of Fitzgerald Georgia, and Mr. Gregory Hall of Macon Georgia.  13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Three sisters: Ms. Katie Young Nixon of Madison Florida, Ms. Bessie Young and Mrs. Fannie Harris all of Ocilla Georgia.  Three brothers: Mr. Franklin and Mrs. Earlene Young of Jacksonville Florida, Mr. Troy and Mrs. Elizebeth Young and Mr. Anthony Young all of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Willie Fuller is planned for Saturday September 14, 2024, at 12:00 noon from the Davis funeral home chapel, 301 North Oak street in Ocilla.  Rev. Gloria Mack, Ms. Adriana Carver, Ms. Melba Holden, Ms. Jennifer Holden, Mr. Michael Holden, Natchez Dunlap, Mr. Kenneth Dent, Mr. James Holden, Mr. Carl Holden, Mr. Cleveland Holden, Mr. Troy Holden, Mr. George Holden, and Mr. Charles Holden.  Grandchildren: Kajonna, Kamiyah, and Jarvionna Harris.  God son: Keylin Battle along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebrations for Mrs. Lydia Diane Newton Harris is planned for Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist church, 215 East 7th. street, Ocilla Georgia, where Rev. James C. Curtis serves as pastor.  Rev. Melvin D. Harper, pastor of Rehoboth Fellowship church, Ocilla will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. In Ocilla Georgia.  Mrs. Harris will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday Morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Newton and Harris families.
