Mr. Joe Benny Dunnom Jr.

Servant of God well done rest from thy love employ. The battle is fought, the victory is won, enter thy master's joy. A voice at midnight came, he started up to hear. A mortal arrow pierced his frame; he fell but felt no fear.

It is with heartfelt sympathy, the Davis Funeral Home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebrations for Mr. Joe Benny Dunnom Jr. Born Tuesday July 10, 1945, in Wray Irwin County Georgia to the late Mrs. Lois Smith Dunnom and the late Mr. (Joseph) Joe Dunnom Sr. Mr. Dunnom received God's call to his everlasting home on Sunday October 26, 2025, at Pruitt Health Center in Fitzgerald Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings: Mrs. Annie Ruth Dunnom Robinson ,Mrs. Annette Dunnom Moore (George) all of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs.Georgia Mae Hall(Perry) of Fitzgerald Georgia , along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.

A home going celebration for Mr. Joe Benny Dunnom Jr. is planned for Saturday November 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist Church, 217 East Seventh Street,Ocilla Georgia, where Rev. James Curtis serves as pastor and will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Ocilla City Cemetery 301 East Valdosta Ave. Ocilla. Mr. Dunnom will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday Morning 10:00 until 1:00 p.m.

The Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
