Mrs. Ida Lee Thomas Paulk

Ida Lee PaulkO far a closer walk with God.  A calm and heavenly friend.  A light to shine upon the road, that leads me to the lamb.  With sincere sympathy the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia pause to announce the Death and home going celebration for Mrs. Ida Lee Thomas Paulk aka "Big Ma".  Born December 30, 1922 in Wray Georgia  to the late Mrs. Carrie Tucker and the late Mr. Charlie McFatten.  Mrs. Paulk received God's call from labor to reward on Monday August 10, 2020 at the Irwin county hospital in Ocilla Georgia.  Mrs. Paulk is survived by her children: Mrs. Easter Moffett of Newton Ms., Mrs. Malinda Devine of Ocilla Georgia,  Mrs. Shianna ( Antwan) Scrubs of Albany Georgia, Mr. Willie Frank Thomas and Mr. Herbert Thomas both of Ocilla Georgia.  Siblings:  Mrs. Carrie Bell Bryant of Douglas Georgia, Mrs. Odessa Merritt of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Willie Mae (James)  Cherry of North Carolina  Mr. Sammie (Beverly) Gamble, of North Carolina, Mr. Charlie Gamble of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Ida Lee Paulk is planned for Saturday August 15,2020 at 2:00 from the Ocilla city cemetery 301 East Valdosta Ave.  Her pastor Rev. Herbert Coney, pastor of the St. John Baptist church, Wray Georgia will delivery the eulogy.  Interment will be in the Ocilla cemetery.  Big Ma will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  Please continue to lift the family up in prayer.  The Davis Funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.

Frazier, 158 Osierfield Road, Wray Georgia.  Born May 23, 1934 in Washington County, Georgia to the late Mr. George Frazier and the late Mrs. Essie Sutton .  Mr. Frazier quietly went home to be with the lord on Tuesday August 4, 2020 at Coffee Regional medical center in Douglas, Georgia.

Mr. Collier is survived by Five sons: Mr. Tracy (Mrs. Martenzy Couch) Collier of Miami Florida, Mr. Irish (Mrs. Ida) Brewton of West Palm Florida, Mr. Gregory Collier of Miami Florida, Mr. Ricky Collier of Fitzgerald Georgia, and Mr. Dwayne (Mrs. Felisa) Brewton of North Carolina.  Four brothers: Mr. Robert Collier Sr. of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Willis Collier Sr. of Miami Florida, Mr. Charles Collier Sr. of Miami Florida, and Mr. Saul Collier of Miami Fla.  Two sisters:  Mrs. Bedonia Marshall of Wray Georgia and Mrs. Linda Martin of Adelanto California.  Twenty grand children and Twenty one great grand children along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  A homegoing celebration for Sylvester Collier Jr. is planned for Saturday August 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ocilla city cemetery 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla Georgia.  Rev. He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Johnny Williams and One brother Mr. Zencorey Davis. Hr. Lane is survived by his wife: Mrs. Jasmein Paulk Lane of Tifton Georgia.  Mother Mrs. Rose Mary Lane/Simmons of Chula Georgia.  One son: Mr. Marcus Lane Jr. of Tifton Georgia.  Siblings: Mr. Johnny Williams Jr. of Tifton Georgia, Mrs. Jasmine (Justin) Jeffery Bloodworth of Valdosta Georgia, Ms. Erika Moore of Tifton Georgia, Ms. Jasmine Lane of Tifton Georgia, Ms. Kwame Robinson of Calif.  Ms. Ahleiyah Jefferson of Tifton Georgia. A  home going celebration for Deacon Marcus Dewayne Lane Sr. is planned for Saturday August 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Oakridge cemetery in Tifton Georgia.  His pastor Rev. Michael J. He started up to here.  A mortal arrow speared his frame, he fell but felt no fear, and so on the hymn goes.   With sadness in our hearts the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street Ocilla Georgia along with the New Bethel missionary Baptist church family pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mr. James Leon Hall, 613 North Alder Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774.    Born October 10, 1963 in Ocilla Georgia.  Mr. Hall departed this life on Sunday July 12, 2020 at the Navient Health care center in Macon Georgia.  Leon is survived by his companion:  Ms. Eva Mae Arnold of Ocilla.  Their children: Jasmine Hall, Bri Freeman, Nicole Hall and Lisa Hall all of Ocilla Georgia.  His mother: Mrs. Mary O'Neal of Ocilla Georgia.  Siblings: Mrs. Jackie Studstill, Ms. Brenda Hall, Mr. Emmitt and Linda Oneal all of Ocilla Georgia.  Rev. David and  Katerina Wilcox of Savannah Georgia.  Mrs. Ella and Hosie Campbell of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. James Leon Hall is planned for Saturday July 18, 2020 at 11:00 from the Ocilla city cemetery 401 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  His brother Rev. David Wilcox will delivery the eulogy and committal.  Mr. Hall will lie in state on Friday morning 11:30 until 6:00 p.m. at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla.  The Davis funeral home Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to lift the Hall family up in prayer.
