Mrs. Banks received God's call from labor to reward at her home in Ocilla on Friday June 3, 2022. She is survived by her children: Mr. Claude and Mrs. Osie Banks of Conyers Georgia, Ms. Shirley Banks of Miami Florida, Mrs. Dianne and Mr. David Paschal of Fitzgerald Georgia. Her Siblings: Ms. Marcia Barthell of Miami Florida, Mr. Kenneth Anderson of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mrs. Charlotte and Mr. Otis Brooklyn of Alapaha Georgia, Ms. Dorothy Bryant of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Home going celebrations for Mrs. Claudie Mae Banks is planned for Saturday June 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Mathis Chapel Baptist church Brushy Creek church Road in Ocilla. Rev. Mathew Baker will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla. Mrs. Banks will lie in state on Friday Morning 10:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
