Freddie FloydWhat a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  With sadness in our hearts, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street Ocilla, Georgia, announces the death and home going celebration for Mr. Freddie Floyd Sr. of Pineview Georgia.  born November 20th 1951, Mr. Floyd departed this life on May 23, 2019 at Taylor Memorial hospital in Hawkinsville Georgia. 

Mrs. Ruby J. Ross Arnold

Ross Arnold of 613 North Alder Street Ocilla, Georgia.  Born March 26, 1936, Mrs. Ross departed this life on May 14, 2019 at Pruitt health care in Ocilla, surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Arnold is survived by her children: Mr. Lance (Norma) Campbell Jr,  Mr. Johnny (Peggy) Campbell, Mr. Joseph (Mary) Arnold,  all of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Ms. Dorothy Delois Campbell, Mr. Willie Zell Campbell, Mr. Tommy (Dessica) Campbell, Mrs. Ruby (Johnny) Peavey, Mr. Jimmy (Shawn) Arnold and Ms. Eva James Hall all of Ocilla Georgia.  Siblings: Mr. Clarence (Inzell) Ross, and Ms. Blondell Ross, all of Ocilla Georgia.  18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Ruby Jean Ross Arnold is planned for Tuesday May 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from  Harvest Time ministries 215 West 5th street Ocilla with Pastor Eddie Sidney serves as pastor and will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery.  Mrs. Arnold will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Monday morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning 10:00 until 12:30 p.m. Please continue to lift the family up in prayer.

Mrs. Idella Boone Lewis

Boone and the late Mrs. Vonell Gaskins Boone.  Mrs. Lewis departed this life on April 24, 2019 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta Georgia.

She departed this Life April 13, 2019, at Pruitt health care in Ashburn Georgia.
