Born October 6, 1940 to the late Charlie and Ida Bennett Lockett in Irwin county Georgia. Ms. Lockett is survived by One son, Mr. Anthony Bryant of New York City, New York. Three sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Pressley of Ocilla, Ga., Ms. Lucy Bryant of Ft. Mitchell Ala., and Mrs. Ruby (George) Parks, of Martinez Ga. Three brothers: Mr. Daniel (Sylvia) Lockett of Ocilla Ga., Mr. Jammie (Barbra) Lockett of Jacksonville Fla., Mr. Jimmie Lockett of Ocilla Ga. Three sister-in-laws; Mrs. Emily Bryant and Mrs. Dorothy Bryant both of Ocilla Ga. Mrs. Florence Lockett of Fellsmere, Fla. Mr. Ned Frazier of Charleston S.C, a companion of 34 years. A host of Neices, nephews, cousins, Aunts, uncles relatives and friends. Funeral services for Ms. Lillie Locket will be held on Saturday August 13, 2016 at 11;00 a.m. from the New Bethel Missionary Baptist church located at 401 East Seventh street in Ocilla, where the Rev. Christopher R. Douglas is pastor. The Rev. James C. Curtis will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery located at 600 North Oak street in Ocilla Georgia.
Ms. Lockett will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla from Friday morning 10:00 until Friday evening 7:00, and at the church on Saturday morning until the funeral hour. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.

Dr. Charles Andrews pastor of the Temple of Refuge Church Of God By Faith in Fitzgerald Georgia. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery on Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla. Mr. Jackson will lie in state on Friday Morning 10:00 until 7:00 Friday Evening, and on Saturday moring at the chapel until 11:30 a.m. and at the church until the funeral hour.
