Mariah Dramella Tumbling, infant daughter of Vanessa Sade Tumbling and Myron Dramelle McTear, died Saturday, March 22, 2014. Mariah was born November 16, 2013 in Ocilla.

Mr. Dwayne Anthony Blue

Dwayne Anthony BlueDwayne Anthony Blue departed this life on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.

Mr. Dwayne Blue was born to the late Wilbur Blue and Ella Mae Blue in Wilmington, Delaware on August 26, 1962. He attended school in Hastings, FL and graduated with his high school diploma in 1981. He was employed at Home Depot until his health began to fail in late 2007.

Mr. Ray Wynn

wynnRay Wynn, 47, of Ocilla, died Friday, March 14, 2014. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Empowerment Temple Church of God By Faith, Ocilla, with officiating ministers, Pastor Charles Craig Jordan (eulogist) and Pastor Trevin Simmons (presiding). Interment followed in Ocilla City Cemetery.

John C. Bormus

johnJohn Calvin Bormus, 62, of Ocilla, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at St. Phillips Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommie Washington officiating.

Mr. Isaac "Coon" Wilcox

Isaac Wilcox01-4Isaac (Coon) Wilcox, 61, of Ocilla, died Thursday, February 6, 2014. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 15, at Midway Baptist Church with the Pastor Kenneth Wilcox officiating. Interment followed in Ocilla Cemetery. Friends and nephews served as pallbearers.Mr. Wilcox was born June 26, 1952 in Irwin County to the late Hubert, Sr. and Ollie Mae Wilcox.

Mrs. Joan W. Wilson

JoanJoan Williams Wilson 58, was called Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Joan suffered quietly, always with a smile and a radiant glow from her spirit. She exemplified God's love to everyone she met. she gave freely of herself and her substance. She never complained and in the essence of a Christian woman, she accepted the trials that were placed before her. She always stated, "What God has For Me, Is Just For Me".
