Mr. Vincent Sharod Wells

Vincent WellsAnd God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away.  Pray with us as we (The Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia) announce the death and home going celebration for Mr. Vincent Sharod Wells, 710 Est. 5th street Ocilla Georgia.  Born October 18, 1987 in Tifton Georgia to Mr. Vernon Wells Sr. and Ms. Annease Pugh Wells of Ocilla.  Vincent received his call from labor to reward on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at his home in Ocilla.   In addition to his parent, he is survived by, a son: Jaxson Henry Wells of Ocilla Georgia,  Siblings:  Mr. Vernon Wells Jr. (Marilyn) of Valdosta Georgia, Mr. Mike (Maquissa) Thomas of Carrolton Georgia, Ms. Pamela (Michael) Bryant of Miami Florida, Ms. Taleca Wells of Marietta Georgia, and Ms. Nosha Cunningham of Ocilla Georgia.  Also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
 
A home going celebration for Mr. Vincent Sharod Wells is planned for Saturday January 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist church 215 East 7th Street in Ocilla Georgia where the Rev. James Curtis serves as pastor. Rev. Stephon Young pastor of the Broches Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Ocilla will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery Valdosta Ave.  Mr. Wells will lie in state Friday morning January 11th 10:00 until 7:00 p.m.  at the Davis funeral home chapel and at the church Saturday morning 10:00 until the funeral hour.  The Davis Funeral home has charge of all arrangements.   Please continue to lift the Wells family up in prayer.

Ms. Antoinette Ashby Spikes

AntoinetteSpikesWith heart felt sympathy the Davis 301 North Oak street Ocilla Georgia announces the death and home going celebration for Ms. Antoinette Ashby Spikes 915 North Cherry Street Ocilla Georgia   31774.  Born December 3rd 1976 in Miami Florida. Ms. Spikes departed this life on Monday December 24th 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton Georgia.   Mrs. Spikes is survived by her husband Mr. Octavius Spikes of Ocilla Georgia.  Their children:   Eugene Smith, of Colorado Springs Colorado,   Eunique Smith of Ocilla Georgia,  Eric Person of Ocilla Georgia,  Aerica Person of Ocilla Georgia,,  Dennis Spikes of Ocilla Georgia, Octavius Spikes ll and Diamond Spikes both of Miami Florida.  Also a host of other Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, relatives and friends survives.

Mr. Larry Thomas Deberry Sr.

LarryDeberryWith sadness in our hearts the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia announces the death and homegoing celebration for Mr. Larry Thomas Deberry Sr. of 517 North McKinley street Ocilla Georgia 31774.  Born October 24, 1946 to the late Mr. William and Ms. Josephine McDue DeBerry in Berrian county Alapaha Georgia.  Mr. DeBerry was a United State Army veteran  serving his country faithfully from September 1966 until September 1968.  Mr. DeBerry was a life long member of the Little Flock missionary church until he received the call from God from labor to reward. He was employed for 30 plus years for Delphi E (Delco Remy) division of General motors.  Mr. DeBerry is survived by his wife: Ms. Shirley Talton DeBerry of Ocilla Georgia.  Their Children:  Mr. Larry DeBerry Jr. and  Ms. Rhonda (Kevin) Lately  of Ocilla Georgia,  Mr. Kelvin L. DeBerry and Mr. Quincy DeBerry  of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Siblings:  Ms. Dora DeBerry of Miami Florida, Mr. Albert (Helen) DeBerry of Alapaha  Georgia,  Mr. Donnie (Lesley) DeBerry of Tifton Georgia, Ms. Dorothy (Joe) Cargile of Atlanta Georgia.  Seven Grandchildren: Ms. Khloe DeBerry and Mr. Quincy DeBerry Jr. of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Kelsey Lately,  Ms. Kaelyn Lately, and Mr. Kelvin Lately Jr. all of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. kelvin DeBerry Jr. and Mr. Kelton Smith of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Also a host of Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends survives.
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Larry Thomas DeBerry is planned for Saturday December 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Midway missionary  Baptist church highway 32 East Holt community Ocilla, where the Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor. His pastor Bishop Richard R. Denning, pastor of the Little Flock Missionary Baptist church Gladys Georgia will deliver the eulogy.  Mr. DeBerry will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning December 28, 2018 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 11:30 at the church until the funeral hour.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please join us was we lift the family up in prayer.

Mr. Lonnie Clark Morrison

Lonnie MorrisonIt is with sincere sympathy that the Davis Funeral home of 301 North Oak street, Ocilla, Georgia announce the Death of Mr. Lonnie Clark Morrison, 106 Wright Dr. Ocilla Georgia.  Born September 25, 1958 in West Palm Beach Florida, to Mr. James Hatchett and Ms. Eula Mae Clark.  Mr. Morrison Departed this life on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at Tift Regional medical center in Tifton Georgia.  Mr. Morrison by his sister Ms. Deborah Ashley and brother Mr. Edward Lee Morrison both of Ocilla Georgia.  His Aunt Ms. Christine Hallback of Riviera Beach Florida along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Funeral arrangements for Mr. Lonnie Clark Morrison are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by the Davis funeral home of Ocilla.   Please continue to lift the family up in prayer.

Clark, Ocala Fl., Ms. Linda C. Merritt, Chamblee Ga., Ms. Bevel J. Collins, Lauderdale Lakes, Fl., Ms. Mae A. Dunn-Williams, Lauderhill Fl., Ms. Angea L. Stewart-Woods, Memphis Tn., Mr. Michael (Dinah) Merritt, Marietta Ga., Mr. Leander (Vonic) Merritt, Indianapolis Ind.  Also a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.

Willie C. Mobley serves as pastor.  Rev. Melvin D. Harper will deliver the eulogy, interment will follow in the Ocilla cemetery on North Oak Street.  Ms. Tiggett will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 in the evening, and Saturday morning at the church 10:00 until the funeral hour.The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please join us as we lift the family up in prayer.

margaret lockhart2With sadness in our hearts the Davis funeral home of 301 North Oak Street Ocilla Georgia, announces the death and home going services for Ms. Margaret Lockhart of Lithonia Ga.  Born June 6, 1960 in Ocilla Georgia Ms. Lockhart entered into eternal rest on Sunday December 2, 2018 at Amicasa Health care in Decatur Georgia.  Ms. Lockhart leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings:  Ms. Linda Fay Wright, Decatur Ga., Mr. Jerry Lockhart and Mr. Zackery Battle of Ocilla, Ga., Mr. Willie Wade Lockhart, and Ms. Akisha Lockhart also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Home going celebrations for Ms. Margaret Lockhart is planned for Saturday December 8, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. from the New Birth Life Changing church located at 127 Condor Dr. Ocilla Georgia where the Rev. Charles Anderson Sr. serves as pastor, and will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery West on Valdosta Ave.  Ms. Lockhart will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 in the evening. and Saturday morning 10:00 until 1:00 p.m.  Please continue with us as we lift the family up in prayer.   The Davis funeral Services of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
