Mrs. Mary Doris Jenkins Bivens

When peace like a river, attend eth my way.  When sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well, with my soul.  it is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mrs. Mary Doris Jenkins Bivens of 911 North Elm Street of Ocilla.  Born September 21, 1952, in Abbeville, Wilcox County Georgia to the late Mrs. Mary Holmes Jenkins and the late Mr. Eddie Charles Jenkins.  Mrs. Bivens received God's call to her everlasting home, on Friday April 4, 2025, peacefully at her home in Ocilla surrounded by her loving family.  She leaves to cherish her memories her children:  Mrs. Natasha and Mr. Ronnie Burroughs of Boiling Springs South Carlonia, Mr. Clifford Bivens of Columbia South Carlonia, and Mr. Rico Bivens of Ocilla Georgia.  A special companion: Mr. Troy Holden of Ocilla Georgia and a sister, Mrs. Geraldine and Mr. Connie Dwight of Abbeville Georgia along with a host of grandchildren, sister and brother in laws, nieces, nephews cousins relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Mary Doris Bivens is planned for Saturday April 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery. 301 East Valdosta Ave, in Ocilla.  Pastor A. Jermone Wells will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Mrs. Bivens will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
