Mr. Michael Leon Rainey

Sweet holy spirit, sweet heavenly dove, stay right here with us, filling us with your love.  And for these blessings, we lift our voice with praise, without a doubt we'll know, that we have been revived, when we shall leave this place.  It is with heartfelt sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death of Mr. Michael Leon Rainey of 1209 Highway 32 East, (Holt) Ocilla Irwin County Georgia.  Born October 23, 1956, in Ocilla. Irwin County Georgia to the late Mrs. Gertrude Ramsey Rainey and the late Mr. Walter Rainey Sr.  Mr. Rainey Received God's call to his everlasting home on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at is his home in Holt Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his son: Mr. Michael (Rickia) Rainey of Boynton Beach Florida.  Siblings: Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Louise Rainey of South Bay Florida, Minister Helen Rainey of Ocilla Holt, Georgia, Dr. Dorothy and Mr. Chris Jones of Virgina Beach Va. Mrs. Carolyn and Mr. Bernard Jones of Augusta Georgia, Mrs. Sherrelle and Mr. Raymond Battle of Austell Georgia, Mrs. Fabre and Mr. Kelvin Jackson of Hiram Georgia, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Home going celebrations for Mr. Michael Leon Rainey is planned for Saturday at 11:00 A.M. from the Midway Baptist church Highway 32 East in the Holt community of Irwin County where Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor.  His sister Minister Helen Rainey will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Graham cemetery on Corn Flower Road in Irwin County, Holt Georgia.  Mr. Rainey will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday Morning, 11:00 until 6:00 P.M.
