Mr. Carl Franklin Glover

With faith in God, you can climb the highest hill.  With faith in God, you can conquer every ill.  With faith in God, the billow ceased to roll, with faith in God I know my anchor holds.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mr. Carl Franklin Glover of Ocilla.  Born January 21, 1952, in Ocilla Georgia to the late Mr. Mack Glover and the late Mrs. Lady B Moreland Glover.  Mr. Glover received God's call to his everlasting home on Wednesday January 15, 2025, at the Life Care Center, Fitzgerald Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Mr. Vincent Cunningham of Miami Florida and Mr. Horace Young of Ocilla Georgia. His brother and sister-in-law: Mr. Charles and Mrs., Lottie Glover of Douglas Georgia.  A special niece and nephew: Mrs. Vivian and Mr. Curtis Reeves of Riverdale Georgia along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Carl Franklin Glover is planned for Saturday January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the Mathis Chapel Missionary Baptist church on Brushy Creek Road in Ocilla.  The pastor Rev. Edward Glover will deliver the Eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Mr. Glover will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
