Mrs. Lydia Dianne Holden Harris

There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuels veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains.  And sinners plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains.  It is with sadness in our hearts. the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death of Mrs. Lydia Diane Newton Harris.  Born April 8, 1967, in Ocilla, Irwin County Georgia. to the late Ms. Annie Clara Newton and the late Mr. George Holden Sr.  Mrs. Harris received God's call to her eternal home Tuesday August 20, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical center in Tifton Georgia.  Mrs. Harris leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Ms. Shamega Harris of Tifton Georgia, and Mr. Eric Harris of Ocilla Georgia.  Her bonus children:  Ms. Gwendolyn Harris, Ms. Ann Harris, Ms. Brandy Harris, Ms. Catrina Harris, Mr. Johnny Harris, Mr. Jonathan Payne, Mr. Wade Wynn, and Mr. Leon Bivens.  Her siblings: Ms. Peggy Newton, Ms. Sandra Moss, Ms. Patricia Dent, Ms. Carolyn Dent, Md. Gloria Mack, Ms. Adriana Carver, Ms. Melba Holden, Ms. Jennifer Holden, Mr. Michael Holden, Natchez Dunlap, Mr. Kenneth Dent, Mr. James Holden, Mr. Carl Holden, Mr. Cleveland Holden, Mr. Troy Holden, Mr. George Holden, and Mr. Charles Holden.  Grandchildren: Kajonna, Kamiyah, and Jarvionna Harris.  God son: Keylin Battle along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebrations for Mrs. Lydia Diane Newton Harris is planned for Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist church, 215 East 7th. street, Ocilla Georgia, where Rev. James C. Curtis serves as pastor.  Rev. Melvin D. Harper, pastor of Rehoboth Fellowship church, Ocilla will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. In Ocilla Georgia.  Mrs. Harris will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday Morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Newton and Harris families.
