Mrs. Elnora Wilson Meddler

When peace like a river, attendeth  my way.  When sorrows like sea billows roll; Whatever my lot, thy hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebrations for Mrs. Elnora Wilson Meddler.  Born August 24, 1942, in Ocilla Irwin County Georgia, to the late Mrs. Fannie Lee Brown Wilson and the late Mr. James (Crip) Henry Wilson Sr.  Mrs. Meddler received God's call to her eternal home on Monday August 19, 2024, at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia, in Tifton Georgia.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Ms. Fannie Lee Wilson, Ms. Johnnie Mae Meddler and Ms. Nora Jean Kearse all of Jacksonville Florida.  Her siblings:  Mrs. Linda Gail Johnson of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Annie Mae Laster, Mrs. Hattie Pearl Williams Mrs. Ruthie and Mr. Clyde Mitchell, Mr. Martin and Mrs. Linda Wilson, Mr. Leroy Wilson, and Ms. Bessie Mae Wilson all of Jacksonville Florida, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A home going celebration for Mrs. Elnora Wilson Meddler is planned for Saturday August 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. from the Davis funeral home chapel, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia.  Minister Joe Battle will deliver the eulogy.  Mrs. Meddler will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning, 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
