Ms. Laveta Mobley

I heard the voice of Jesus say, come unto me and rest. Lie down thy weary one, lie down, thy head upon by breast.  I came to Jesus as I was, wearied wound and sad.  I found in him a resting place and he has made me glad.  It is with sadness in our heart, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia, 31774 pause to announce the death of Ms. Laveta Mobley.  Born October 3, 1945, in Wray, Irwin County Georgia to the late Mrs. Fannie Wilder Mobley and the late Mr. Richard Mobley.  Ms. Mobley received her heavenly call On Sunday July 7, 2024, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas Georgia.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter: Ms. Zelda Gaskin of Stockwood New Jersey, her granddaughter: Ms. Tianna Williams of Jacksonville Florida, her brother: Mr. Rayfield Mobley of Jacksonville Florida, a special nephew: Mr. Stanley and Mrs. Paula Gaskin of Clearmont Florida, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  Home going services for Ms. Lavata Mobley is planned for Saturday July 20, 2024, at 1:00 from the New Bethel Baptist church, 401 East 7th. street Ocilla Georgia, where Rev. Christopher R. Douglas serves as pastor.  Rev. Charles A. Anderson Sr. will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Graham family cemetery on Corn Flower Rd. Holt Georgia.  Ms. Mobley will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Mobley family.
