Born October 13, 1951, in Mystic Georgia to the late Mrs. Mattie Bell Crumedy Hymn and the late Mr. James Hymn. Mr. Hymn received God's call to his eternal home, on Monday morning June 24, 2024, at Carolina Rehab Center of Cumberland, in Fayetteville North Carolina. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 37 years: Mrs. Janice Brown Hyman of Fayetteville North Carolina. His son: Mr. Lamont Mayo of Tifton Georgia. His siblings: Ms. Helen Baker of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mrs. Rosie and Mr. Monroe Crockett of St. Petersburg Florida, Ms. Patricia Turner of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Charlotte Middlebrooks of Mystic Georgia, Mr. Larry and Mrs. Gussie Hyman of Fitzgerald Georgia, and Mr. James and Mrs. Sharon Hyman of Columbia South Carolina, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A home goings celebration for Mr. George W. Hyman is planned for Saturday Juned 29, 2024 at 12:00 noon from the Pine Bloom Missionary Baptist church, Mystic Georgia where Rev. Ronald Dixon serves as pastor and will deliver the eulogy and committal. Mr. Hyman will lie in state Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove cemetery, Highway 32 West, Irwinville Georgia. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
