Born October 8, 1970, Mrs. Thomas received God's call to her everlasting home on Friday December 29, 2023,at her home in Ben Hill County.She leaves to cherish her memories,her husband: Mr. Gerald Thomas of Fitzgerald Georgia. Her children: Mrs.Lindsey Bishop,Ms. Emily M. Ray, Ms. Stephanie Thomas,and Mr. Gerald Thomas II. Her parents: Mrs. Deborah and Mr. Steve Arnold. Her siblings: Ms. Sonia Griffith, Mrs. Yolanda Griffith Terry and Mrs. Tonia Griffith Carver,along with a host of brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A home going celebration for Mrs. Donna Shane Griffith Thomas is planned for Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. from the Midway Missionary Baptist Church, Highway 32 East in the Holt Community of Irwin County, where Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor. Rev. Charles A. Anderson Sr. will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Paulk Cemetery in Irwin County. Mrs. Thomas will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla,Thursday morning 11:00 until 7:00 p.m. The Davis Funeral Home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
