Born February 7, 1935 in Osierfield, Irwin county Georgia, to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Simpson Parker and the late Mr. Richard Parker Sr. Mother Devine received God's call from labor to reward on Saturday morning August 12, 2023, surround by her loving family. She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Mrs. Helen Parker Colbert, Savannah Georgia, Mrs. Janice Devine Jenkins, Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Amelia (Devine) and Pastor Donnie Smith, Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Jerry Devine, Fitzgerald Georgia, Mrs. Katherine Devine Lewis, Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Darryon and Mrs. Lakeysha Devine, Fitzgerald Georgia and Mr. Dexter and Mrs. Neshika Devine, Augusta Georgia. Two sisters: Mrs. Daisy Brown, Charlotte North Coralina, and Mrs. Adel Porter, Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A homegoing celebration for Mother Macie Love Parker Devine is planned for Saturday August 19, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from the Friendship Missionary Baptist church, 127 Moss Lane Osierfield Georgia where Rev. E. Terrel Carter serves as pastor. Her son-in-law, Pastor Donnie Smith will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Osierfield community cemetery, Osierfield Georgia. Mother Devine will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The Davis funeral Home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
