With sadness in our hearts, the Davis Funeral Home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebrations for Mr. Anthony Tony Harris, aka Solo. Born December 28, 1973, in Ocilla Georgia to Mr. Waymond and Mrs. Mary Ann Shelton Harris. Mr. Harris received God's call to rest with him on Saturday July 22, 2023, in Sarasota Florida. Anthony (Solo) leaves to cherish his memories: One daughter, Ms. Emani Harris of Atlanta Georgia, his parents: Mr. Waymond and Mrs. Mary Ann Shelton Harris of Ocilla Georgia, Siblings: Ms. Shonda Harris Walker of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Timothy Bernard and Mrs. Janika Harris of Dublin Georgia, and Mr. Eric Moore of Tifton Georgia, Devoted brother in law Mr. Demetris E. Walker of Ocilla, Georgia, along with a host on aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A home going celebration for Mr. Anthony Tony Harris is planned for Saturday July 29, 2023, at 11:00A.M. from the Midway Missionary Baptist Church Highway 32 East in the Holt Community of Irwin County, where Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor. Rev. Melvin Harper will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Ocilla City Cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla. Mr. Harris will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. The Davis Funeral Home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
