Mrs. Sherry Collins McCoy

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear, what a privilege it is to carry.  Everything to God in prayer.  With sincere sympathy, The Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street Ocilla, pause to announce the death of Mrs. Sherry Collins McCoy.  Born August 23, 1964 in Ocilla Georgia, to the late Mr. Ulysses Davis and the late Ms. Emily "Blossie" Collins.  Mrs. McCoy received God's call to her eternal home Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Pruitt Health Care Center in Fitzgerald Georgia.  Mrs. McCoy is survived by her children: Ms. Shernarda Collins of Douglas Georgia, Mr. Keiyatla Collins of Tampa Florida and Ms. Renarda Collins of Virginia.  Her siblings:  Mr. Horace Collins, Mr. Marion Collins, Mr. Marvin Collins, Mr. Ralph and Dorethia Collins, Ms. Vivian Collins, Ms. Cathy Collins, Ms. Ellen Bopapsy, Mrs. Marva and Mr. Ronald Cuthpet and Mrs. Chrystal and Mr. Pat Glasper.  Four grandchildren: Jor'Darrious Redding, Darria Redding, Kei'Darria Redding, and Aida Faye Collins along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  Home Going celebrations for Mrs. Sherry is planned for Wednesday January 18, 2023 at 12:00 noon from the  Mt. Olive Baptist church at 808 East Jessamine street in Fitzgerald Georgia. Bishop Richard R. Denning will deliver the eulogy.   Mrs. McCoy will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Tuesday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
