Ms. Josephine Ewing Johnson

Father we stretch our hands to thee, no other help we know.  If you withdraw yourself from us, we have nowhere to go.  With sadness in our heart, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death of Ms. Josephine Ewing Johnson of Ocilla.  Born April 25, 1952 in Ocilla Georgia to the late Ms. Anna Lee Ewing.  Ms. Johnson received God's call to the eternal home on Wednesday January 4, 2023 at Dorminey Medical center in Fitzgerald Georgia.  She is survived by her children: Ms. Bessie Ann and Mr. Ulysses Johnson and Mrs. Heather and Mr. Marice Glover all of Douglas Georgia.  One sister Ms. Jearldine Ewing of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Home going services for Ms. Josephine Ewing Johnson is planned for Saturday January 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the New Bethel Baptist church, 401 East 7th. street Ocilla, where Rev. Christopher R. Douglas serves as pastor and will deliver the eulogy.  Mrs. Johnson will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
