Mrs. Catherine Bryant Bormus

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  With sadness in our hearts, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street Ocilla Georgia, pause to announce the Death of Mrs. Catherine Bryant Bormus aka Cat.  Born February 15, 1950 in Ocilla, Irwin county Georgia, to the late Mr. Ulysses Bryant and the late Mrs. Lula Mae Tyson Bryant. Mrs. Bormus received God's call from labor to reward on Saturday December 25, 2021 surrounded by her loving twin sister Carrie Bryant Sneed and family members in Miami Florida.  Catherine is survived by her siblings:  Mrs. Carrie and Mr. Theodis Sneed of Miami Florida, Mrs. Ruth Gamble, Mrs. Louvina White, Mr. Columbus and Mrs. Earnestine Bryant all of Ocilla Georgia.  An additional  sister-in-law: Mrs. Carrie Bell Gamble Bryant of Ambrose Georgia, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. A Home going celebration for Mrs. Catherine Bryant Bormus is planned for Saturday January 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Rev. Randy Shelly will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Mrs. Bormus will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Bryant and Bormus familes,
