William ThomasFather, we stretch our hands to thee, no other help we know.  If you with draw yourself from us, we have nowhere to go.  With sadness in our hearts, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia, 31774 pause to announce the death of Mr. William Jacob Thomas aka Pop of 152 Osierfield Dr. Wray Georgia, 31798.  Born November 11, 1941, in Irwin County, to the late Mr. Howard Thomas Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary Etta Paulk Thomas.  Mr. Thomas completed his earthly journey to enter his eternal home on  Tuesday December 21, 2021, at Coffee regional medical center in Douglas Georgia.  Mr. Thomas is survived by his children: Mr. Ronald and Mrs. Marie Wynn of Enigma, Georgia, and Ms. Yevette Thomas of Charleston South Carolina.  Siblings: Mrs. Eva Everette, of Miami Florida, Ms. Doris Thomas of Conley Georgia, Mrs. Barbara and Mr. Albert Jay, Ms. Ophelia Thomas, of Smyrna Georgia, Mrs. Mary and Mr. John Miller of Albany Georgia, Mrs. Lois Prater, Mrs. Wanda and Mr. Robert Jackson, Mrs. Cheryl and Rev. Charles Anderson, Mrs. Regina Belmer, Mr. Gerald and Mrs. Donna Thomas all of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Carroll Thomas of Miami Florida, Mr. Donald Thomas of Wray Georgia, along with a special cousin: Ms. Cora Baker of Ocilla Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.   A home going celebration for Mr. William J. Thomas is planned for Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Paulk cemetery 126 Evergreen road, Ocilla (Holt) Georgia. Mr. Thomas will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Thursday morning 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.   The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Thomas family.
