Mr. Wilcox peacefully received God's call to his heavenly home on Thursday August 12, 2021, at the Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville Georgia surrounded by a devoted family. Mr. Wilcox is survived by his children: Mr. Earnest and Mrs. Natalia Boone of New York, New York, Ms. Courtney Daniels of Fitzgerald Georgia, Ms. Katrina Bryant of Atlanta Georgia, Mr. Michael Wilcox of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Earl Wilcox Jr. of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Angela Wynn of Louisiana, Mr. Kevin Freeman of Douglas Georgia, Ms. Shelia Freeman of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Tracey Freeman of Ocilla Georgia. A special friend: Ms. Jackie Williams of Thomasville Georgia. Special niece: Ms. Sylvia Wilcox of Fitzgerald Georgia. Special cousin: Mr. Emmitt Ingram of Fitzgerald Georgia along with a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A home going celebration for Mr. Earl Wilcox Sr. is planned for Saturday August 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery 301 East Valdosta Ave. Rev. Randy Shelly will deliver the Eulogy and committal. Mr. Wilcox will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning 10:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:30 until 12:30 noon.
