Mrs. Albertha Wilson Green

Come ye that love the lord, and let your joys be known. Join in a song a sweet accord, and thus around his throne.  Let those refuse to sing, who never knew our God.  But children of the heavenly  king, may speak there joys aboard.  With sadness in our hearts, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia  31774 pause to announce the death of Mrs. Albertha Wilson Green age 81 of 1062 Highway 32 West, Ocilla (Mystic) Georgia 31774.  Born December 3, 1939 in Irwin county, Mrs. Green received God's call from labor to reward on Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Pruitt's Health care center in Ocilla Georgia.  Mrs. Green is survived by her husband: Mr. Garfield Green of Ocilla Georgia.  Their children: Mr. Terry and Mrs. Cathy Green of Valdosta Georgia. Mrs. Debra and Mr. Walter Cooney of Palm Bay Florida, and Mr. Dexter Green of Ocilla Georgia.  Several siblings, brother and sister in laws, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Albertha Wilson Green is planned for Saturday May 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Pastor Travon Simmons, pastor of the New Beulah Baptist church of Wray Georgia will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Mrs. Green will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning 10:30 until 6:00 p.m.  Please join us as we continue to pray for the Wilson and Green families.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
