Dorothy CrumedyOh far a closer walk with God, a calm and heavenly friend.  A light to shine upon the road, that leads me to the lamb.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 announces the death and homegoing celebration for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Wilcox Crumedy aka Sister of Ocilla Georgia.  Born August 17, 1942 in Ocilla Georgia to the late Mr. Jimmie Lee Wilcox and the late Mrs. Lucy Bell Murray Wilcox.  Sister departed the life to be with the lord on Sunday October 4, 2020 at the Irwin county hospital in Ocilla Georgia.  Dorothy (Sister) leaves to cherish her memories, her son: Mr. Jimmie Lee Wilcox of Ocilla Georgia. Grandchildren: Ms. Iesha Wilcox and Ms. Jasmine Wilcox both of Douglas Georgia, Mr. Jimmie Lee Wilcox Jr. and Ms. Zykhia Floyd both of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Her siblings: Mrs. Gaynell and Mr. Felton Hall of Atlanta Georgia, Mrs. Mary Daniels of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Doris Robinson of Tampa Florida, Mr. Moses and Mrs. Iris Wilcox of Tampa Florida and Mrs. Linda Paschal of Albany Georgia, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Wilcox Crumedy aka Sister is planned for Saturday October 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Her nephew Rev. David Wilcox of Savannah Georgia will deliver the Eulogy and  committal.  Mrs. Crumedy will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla of Friday morning 11:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Please continue  to pray for the Wilcox and Crumedy family.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
