Thru the storm, thru the night, lead me on to the light, take my hand, precious lord, lead me home.  With sadness in our hearts, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia 31774, announces the death and home going celebration for Mr. Theotis Stewart of Hillside New Jersey, formerly of Ocilla Georgia. Born July 30, 1943, Mr. Stewart departed this life on September 8, 2020.    Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife: Mrs. Sherline Hollis Stewart of Hillside New Jersey.  Their Children: Mr. Jeffery and wife Bobbie Stewart of Macon Georgia, Mrs. Shirley and husband Timothy Whitlock of Orange Park Florida, and Mrs. Sherri and husband Keith Mason of Jacksonville Florida.  Siblings:  Mrs. Dora  Edwards, Mrs. Deloris Venson, Mr. Karlos Simmons all of Ocilla Georgia, and Mr.. Eric and wife Lee Lee Stewart of Birmingham Alabama.   Sister and brother in Laws: Ms. Fannie Hollis, Mr. Roosevelt and wife Barbara Hollis all of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Linda Taylor  and Ms. Brenda Hollis both of Allentown Pennsylvania ., Mr. Bobby Mike of Lake Alford Florida, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A  homegoing celebration for Mr. Theotis Stewart is planned for Tuesday September 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery 700 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia.  Rev. Travon Simmons will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Mr. Stewart will lie in state at the Davis Funeral home in Ocilla, Monday afternoon 1:00 until 6:00.  Please continue to lift the Stewart, Simmons, and Hollis families up in prayer.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of local arrangements.
