Hazel JordanWhat a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief to bear.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pains we bear.  ALL BECAUSE WE DO NOT CARRY,  EVERYTHING TO GOD IN PRAYER.  With sadness in our hearts, the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 announces the death and committal services for Mrs. Hazel Wynn Jordan of 710 East 8th street in Ocilla.  Born May 7, 1939 in Ocilla Irwin county Georgia to the late Ms. Evelyn Wynn and the late Mr. Rudolph Gaskins.  Mrs. Jordan received the lords call from labor to reward on Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Tift Regional medical center in Tifton Georgia.  She is survived by her loving and devoted husband: Mr. Charlie Lee Jordan.  Four daughters: Mrs. Diane (Mr. Dewayne) James, Mrs. Alicia (Mr. Dewayne) Vickers, Mrs. Sharon (Mr. Jeffery) Lawson, Mrs. Angela (Mr. James) Riley.  One son: Rev. Charles Craig (Mrs. Tracey) Jordan.  Two sisters: Ms. Lois Wynn and Mrs. Carolyn (Mr. Willie) Young.  Two brothers: Mr. Hayward Wynn and Mr. Jerry Wayne Wynn.  Twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Graveside services for Mrs. Hazel Wynn Jordan will be held on Saturday April 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ocilla city cemetery at 301 east Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Rev. Marvin H. Smith Sr. will preside.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to lift the Wynn and Jordan family up in prayer.
