Mr. Middlebrooks departed this life on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at his home in Ocilla. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Karen Hardy Middlebrooks of Ocilla. Children: Mr.William Carey Middlebrooks, Ms. Brett Middlebrooks, Jessica Tyson all of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Irene Baker of Fitzgerald Georgia. Sibling: Mr. Herman Middlebrooks of Mystic Georgia, Mrs. Willene (Mr. Randy) Dopson; Mrs. Catherine (Mr. Larry Sr.) Dopson all of Morrow Georgia; Mr. John (Mrs. Thomasina) Middlebrooks of Bonaire, Georgia; Mr. Thomas (Mrs. Breneda) Middlebrooks of Bowie Maryland; Mrs. Delois (Mr. Alan) Moffett of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Daisy (Mr. Tony Sr.) Dopson of McDonough Georgia, Miss Gloria (Mr. Jeffery) Middlebrooks of College Park, Georgia; and Ms. Lucile Middlebrooks of Ocilla Georgia. Sister-in-law; Mrs. Eveline Middlebrooks of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Several sister and brother in laws along with Seven Grandchildren, Three Great grandchildren, and a host of neices, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Graveside services Mr. Carey Middlebrooks Jr. will be held on Monday April 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ocilla city cemetery on Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla Georgia with Rev. Nathan Bartell presiding. Mr. Middlebrooks will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Sunday afternoon 1:00 until 6:00.The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
