Mr. LaCorey Jenkins

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bare.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, announces the death and home going services for Mr. LaCorey  Jenkins age 41 of Ocilla Georgia.  Born June 30, 1978 to the late Ms. Margaret Jenkins and the late Mr. William Gaskin.  Mr. Jenkins departed this life on Saturday February 8, 2020, at Phoebe Putney Memorial hospital, in Albany Georgia. 

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his children: Cassidy Jenkins of Fitzgerald Georgia, Taylor Jenkins and Brent Shelton both of Atlanta Georgia.  
Brothers and their companions: Marcus and Shalonda Jenkins of Fitzgerald Georgia, William Jenkins of lake Alfred Florida, Augusta Jenkins of Oklahoma, Carrere Gaskin of Nichols Georgia, and Waylon Mike of Lake Alfred Florida.  
Sisters and their companions:   Malissa Jenkins of Fitzgerald Georgia, Ulanda Jenkins of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mary and Harold Merritt of Ocilla Georgia, Tina Gaskin of Statesboro Georgia, and Martha and Anthony Morris of Lake Alfred Florida. 
Also a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, relatives and friends survives.  The Family will receive friends at 600 North Lincoln Street, in Ocilla.

A home going celebration for Mr. LaCorey Jenkins is planned for Saturday February 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the Midway Baptist church, highway 32 East in the Holt community, where the Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor. Mr. Jenkin's niece, Minister Antiria Jenkins of Warner Robins Georgia, will deliver the Eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery on Valdosta Ave. Mr. Jenkins will lie in state at the Davis funeral home on Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please keep the Jenkins family in your prayers.
