David RichardsonWhat a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear.  What a privilege  it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  With sincere sympathy Mr. and Mrs. Aldene Tyson along with the Davis funeral home  staff, 301 North Oak Street Ocilla Georgia   31774 announces the death of Mr. David Richardson aka Papa of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife:  Mrs. Vicki Baker Richardson of Fitzgerald Georgia. Children:  Ms.. Adrianna Richardson, Mr. Antonia Richardson, Ms. Abrianna Richardson, and Mr. Antwan Richardson all of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Siblings: Mrs. Sadie Ross of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Carl (Bettie) Richardson of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Archie (Joann) Richardson, Mrs. Reatha (Carl) Richardson all of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Daniel (Debra) Richardson of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Jermaine Richardson of San Antonia Texas, Mrs. Sermaine (Michael)   Fries of Jacksonville Florida.  Mother-in-law: Mrs. Minnie Ruth Jones Baker of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Five grandchildren and a host of in laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A homegoing celebration for Mr. David Richardson aka papa is planned for Saturday January 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from the Empowerment Temple church of God by Faith, 601 North Oak street Ocilla where the Rev. Kenneth Moore serves as pastor and will deliver the eulogy.   Mr. Richardson will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00  until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:00 until 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery 700 North Oak street Ocilla.  Please continue to pray for the Richardson and Baker family.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
