Mae Frances DyousWith sincere sympathy the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia 31774 announces the death and homegoing services for Mrs. Mae  Frank Dyous of Ocilla Georgia.  Born November 8, 1929 in Webster county Georgia to the late Mr.Charlie Frank Walker and the late Ms. Annie Kate Gay. Mrs. Dyous departed this life on Friday August 30, 2019 at Browns health Care center in Statesboro Georgia.

Mrs. Dyous is survived by her children: Ms. Carrie Mae Dyous, Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. George Dyous, Albany Georgia, Mr. Murry Lee Dyous, Fitzgerald Georgia,  Ms. Diann Mannings, Douglas Georgia, Ms. Jennette Dyous, Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Annie Kate and Mr. Randolph Ellis, Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Gloria Freeman, Ocilla, Georgia, Mrs. Betty and John Pressley, Ocilla Georgia, and Pastor Brenda and Pastor Donnell Robinson, Statesboro Georgia.  Sisters: Ms. Ruby Walker of Webster co., Georgia, and Ms. Leola Woodard of Atlanta, Georgia.  50+ grandchildren, 30+ great and great great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

 

A home going celebration for Mrs. Mae Frank Dyous is planned for Saturday September 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of the Empowerment Temple church of God by Faith, 601 North Oak Street Ocilla Georgia, where the Rev. Kenneth R. Moore serves as pastor.  Eulogy will be delivered by her daughter pastor, Brenda Robinson of Statesboro Georgia.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery on Valdosta Ave.  Mrs. Dyous will lie in state at the Davis funeral home, Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 noon at the church until the funeral hour.  Please continue to lift the Dyous family up in prayer.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
