Mrs. Selma Deloris Sneed Litman

Rest from thy loved employ!  The battle  is fought, the victory is won, enter thy master's joy.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis Funeral home 301 North Oak street Ocilla Georgia, announces the death and home going celebration for  Mrs. Selma Deloris Sneed Litman.  501 East 6th. Street Ocilla Georgia 31774.  Born October 7, 1925 in Ocilla Georgia, to the late Mrs. Ula Mae Goss Sneed and the late Mr. James Sneed.  A retired Licensed Practical Nurse, Mrs. Litman is survived by her  daughter:  Mrs. Patricia Litman Thurman of Ocilla Georgia.  Three grandchildren:  Mrs. Aisha and Roman Morrow of Hampton Georgia.  Mr. Marqui Thurman of Riverdale Georgia.  Doctor Joi and Joseph Rogers of Douglas Georgia.  Eleven  Great grandchildren:  Imani, Christian, and Chance Morrow.  Daijah, Taylor, J C and Zure Rogers.  Martez Lee, Maquisha, and Sharon Thurman, and Brandon Ammons.  Two great greatgrandchildren: T J Thurman and Branche Lee.  One sister in law:  Mrs. Hazel Sneed of Detroit Michigan.  A special nephew; Rev Ronnie J. Sneed of Detroit Michigan.  Also a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Selma Deloris Sneed Litman is planned for Saturday April 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist church 215 East 7th. Street Ocilla, Georgia, where the Rev. James C. Curtis serves as pastor.  Her pastor, Rev. Willie C. Mobley, pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist church in Ocilla will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery on Valdosta Ave.  Mrs. Litman will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday morning 10:00 until the funeral hour.  Please continue to lift the family up in prayer.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
