Mr. Kenneth (Kenny) Carver

Kenneth CarverServant of God well done, rest from thy love employ.  The battle is fought, the victory is won, enter thy master's joy.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street Ocilla Georgia, pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mr. Kenneth (Kenny) Carver.  Born May 27, 1955 in Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Carver departed this life on  Friday March 15, 2019 at Jackson memorial hospital in Miami Fla.  Kenny is survived by is children: Ms. Lathisa Carver (Derick Harris), Ms. Tarnika Carver, Mr. Keith Carver, and Ms. Charolette Carver all of Miami Fla.  Ms. Kenyatta (Anthony) Thrope of Fitzgerald Ga.  Grandchildren: Trevaris, Keyalexandria, Nakaylin, Adam and Christian.  Siblings:  Ms. Betty Jenkins of Miami Fla, Ms. Gloria Devine of Fitzgerald Georgia,  Ms. Ressie Dunlap, Minister Elizabeth Cook both of Ocilla Ga., Ms. Rachel Coleman, Ms. Edna (Ted) Watkins and Mr. Willie Frank Bivens all of Tifton Ga.  Mr. Daniel Lee Bivens of Fitzgerald Ga.  Minister Mitchell (Faye) Bivens of Marietta, Ga. Ms. Renea' (James) Alford of Augusta Ga.  A special friend: Ms. Velicia Williams of Miami Fla.Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  
A home going celebration for Mr. Kenneth (Kenny) Carver is planned for Saturday March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the New Bethel Baptist church 401 East 7th Street Ocilla, where the Rev. Christopher R. Douglas serves as pastor.  Rev. Bernard Collier will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery.  Mr. Caver will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday morning 10:00 until the funeral hour.  Please continue to lift the Carver family up in prayer.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
