With sincere sympathy, the Davis Funeral home, 301 North Oak Street Ocilla Georgia, announces the death and home going celebration for Mr. Rhubinell Middlebrooks of Ocilla Georgia.  Born March 11, 1932 in Ocilla Georgia to the Late Mr. Gilbert and Mrs. Blanch Middlebrooks.  Mr. Middlebrooks was called to rest in his heavenly home on Monday February 11, 2019 at the Pruitt Health care center in Ocilla Georgia.  He is survived by his siblings: Mr. Joe Middlebrooks of San Francisco California, Mrs. Willie Mae Anderson and Ms. Evelyn Harris both of Hattiesburg  Mississippi, Mrs. Glenda (Willie Fred) Walker and Ms. Darletha Merritt all of Ocilla Georgia.  Also a host of nieces, nephews cousins relatives and friends survives.

 

A celebration of life and love for Mr. Rhubinell Middlebrooks is planned for Saturday February 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist church, 215 East 7th. Street Ocilla Georgia where the Rev. James C. Curtis services as pastor and eulogist.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla cemetery on Valdosta Ave.  Mr. Middlebrooks will lie in state at the Davis Funeral home in Ocilla Friday Morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:00 until 12:30 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
