Deacon Edward Earl "Popcorn" Frye

With sadness in our hearts the Davis funeral home of Ocilla Georgia announces the death and home going celebration for Deacon Edward Earl "Popcorn" Frye.  A home going celebration for Deacon Frye is planned for Saturday June 9th, at 4:00 p.m. from Beulah Hill Family Life Center.  Located at 321 Tifton-Eldorado Road, Tifton Georgia, where  Rev. Solomon Hill is  pastor. Rev. Vernon Robinson will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Oakridge cemetery, Tifton Georgia.   Dea. Frye will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home 301 North Oak Street in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 until 5:00 p.m. and at New Bethel Baptist church 401 Est. 7th. street where the family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  On Saturday at the church 2:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
