Mr. Chester Lewis

For darkness may endure for a night,  but joy cometh in the morning:  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla Georgia pause  to announce the death and home going services for Mr. Chester Lewis of Delray Beach Florida formerly of Ocilla Georgia.  Mr. Lewis is survived by his companion: Ms. Gwendolyn Campbell, Sons: Mr. Kelly Dixon, Mr. Robert Dixon,    Mr. Tarnish James Darden, Mr. Kristin Timothy Dixon, and Mr. Destiny Dixon.  Daughter: Ms. Gwendolyn Darden.  Sibling: Mrs. Shirley Riley, Mrs. Bessie Robinson, and Ms. Essie Lewis.  Also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins relatives and friends.

 

A home going celebration for Mr. Chester Lewis is planned for Saturday May 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the New Bethel Baptist church 401 East 7th. Street Ocilla Georgia where the Rev. Christopher R. Douglas is pastor.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery. Rev. Ronald Dixon will deliver the eulogy.  Mr. Lewis will lie in state at the New Bethel Baptist church Saturday morning 11:00 until the funeral hour.
