Raymond McQueen was born June 13, 1955 in Hollywood, Florida to Roscoe McQueen Sr. and Georgia Mae. He attended school in Hollywood, Florida. His family attended Gethsemane Baptist Church in Hollywood, Florida, were he was baptized at the age of ten.

He came to Ocilla, Georgia in the late 90’s, were he worked in a variety of fields. He was truly “A Jack of all Trades” Raymond had a helpful spirit and was loving and supportive to family and friends. He always had a smile and a positive outlook toward the future. As Raymond fell ill these past few months, he decided to look toward his childhood faith and embrace Christ as Savior.
He leaves to cherish fond memories three sons: Ellis (Retevea) McQueen, Terrell McQueen, and Jamarr Richie; one granddaughter, Markeisha Carver; one great granddaughter, Nevaeh Weatherspoon; his three sisters: Ella Mae (John) Austin, Delores (Sam) Lester and Carol McQueen; three brothers Roscoe (Renella), Isaac and Daniel McQueen; a special friend Deborah Collier; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
