Mrs. Dorothy Jean King Spivey

It is with our deepest sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebrations for Mrs. Dorothy Jean King Spivey.  Born Monday November 20, 1944, in Pineview Georgia to the late Mrs. Ossie Bell Bloom King and the late Mr. Fletcher Rawls King.  Mrs. Spivey received God's call to her heavenly home on Thursday October 1, 2026, at her home in Pineview Georgia.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her son: Mr. Walter Banks of Pineview Georgia.  Grandchildren: Comron Penson, Alexis Roberts, Zariah Banks, Victoria Robertson, Aja M. Lewis, Jeremy Lewis, K.J. Jones, Erica Grace, Jeremy Lewis Jr., Brandon Lewis, Novina Lewis, Jada Lewis, and April Lewis along with a host of other in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Dorothy Jean Spivey was held on Saturday October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from the Mt. Aire Missionary Baptist church, Finley, Georgia where Pastor John Day serves as pastor and delivered the eulogy and committal.  Interment followed in the Mt. Aire Baptist church cemetery, The Davis funeral home of Ocilla Georgia was in charge of those arrangements.
