Mr. Recarter Lamont Edge

It is with our deepest sympathy the Davis Funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia, 31774 pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mr. Recarter Lamont Edge of 202 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774.  Born Sunday May 18, 1969 in Turner county, Ashburn Georgia to the late Ms. willie Rean Edge.  Mr. Edge received God's call to his eternal home on Wednesday September 23, 2026 at Harborview Health Care Center in Tifton Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his Wife: Mrs. Lovonda Tyson Edge of Ocilla Georgia.  Their children; Mrs. Miya and Mr. John Hall of Cordele Georgia, Ms. D'Netria Hall, Ms. D'Shonna Hall and Mr. Ramont Edge all of Ocilla Georgia. Grandchildren: Amari Moore and Khaleesi Hall of Cordele Georgia, Trent and Parker Shelton, Kyleigh and Jamal Brown all of Ocilla Georgia. His sibling; Mrs. Shirley and Mr. Willie Arnold of Valdosta Georgia along with a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Recarter Lamont Edge is planned for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. from the Irwin county high school Gymnasium 146 Chiefton Circle, Ocilla.  Elder Alexander Williams will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla City cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Mr. Edge will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements for Mr. Recarter Lamont Edge.
