He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Ms. Tekinah Postma of North Carolina, Ms. Chan Wiley and Mrs. Coy Tucker both of West Palm Beach Florida, Mr. Wallace McTear Jr. of Sandford Florida, Ms. Shakedra Austin of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Amy King of Warner Robins Georgia, Mr. Wallace McTear of Ocilla Georgia, and Ms. Nikita Harris of Tifton Georgia along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Home goings celebration for Mr. Wallace McTear is planned for Tuesday June 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Empowerment Temple Church of God by Faith, 609 North Oak street, Ocilla where Rev. Kenneth Moore serves as pastor. Minister Corey Wynn will deliver the eulogy and committal. Mr. McTear will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Monday morning, 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.
