Mr. Dan Lee Bivens

When peace like a river, attendeth  my way.  When sorrow like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well, with my soul.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death of Mr. Dan Lee Bivens aka Turk of 17 Doe Lane, Tifton Georgia   31793.  Born Saturday January 24,1948, in Pahokee Florida to the late Mrs. Elvira Jones Bivens and the late Mr. Willie Fred Bivens.  Mr. Bivens received God's call to his eternal home on Tuesday May 12, 2026, at his home in Tifton Georgia with his loving family at his side.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Mrs. Ruby Coffee Bivens of Fitzgerald Georgia, his children: Mrs. Dana and Mr. Patrick Clemmons of Broxton Georgia, Mrs. Monica Harmon of Allentown Pa., Mrs. Kimmie Clayton of Douglas Georgia, Mr. Elo and Mrs. Chera Bivens of Jacksonville Florida Mr. Fredrick Bivens of Waycross Georgia, and Mr. Cyrus and Mrs. Tona Bivens, Kentucky.  His siblings: Mrs. Ressie Battle of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Elizabeth Cooks of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Willie Sr. and Mrs. Mary Bivens of Tifton Georgia, Mrs. Edna and Mr. Ted Watkins of Tifton Georgia, and Mrs. Sherral Bivens of Augusta Georgia, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  Home going celebrations for Mr. Dan Lee Bivens aka Turk are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by the Davis funeral home of Ocilla.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements for Mr. Dan Lee Bivens.  Please continue to lift the Bivens Family up in prayer.
