Sweet holy spirit, sweet, heavenly dove, stay right here with us, filling us with your love.  And for these blessing, we lift our hearts with praise, without a doubt we'll know that we have been revived when we shall leave this place.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the Death and homegoing celebrations for Mr. Douglas Jermone Johnson Sr.  Born Sunday January 1, 1967, in Miami Dade county Florida, to the late Mrs. Ida George Johnson and the late Mr. Matthew Johnson Sr.  Mr. Johnson received God's call to his everlasting home on Friday April 24, 2026, in Fitzgerald, Ben Hill County Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Ms. Danielle Johnson of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Diamond Johnson of Tampa Florida, Mr. Desmond Johnson of Tampa Florida, Mr. Douglas Jermone Johnson Jr. of Fort Lauderdale Florida, and Mr. Willie Lewis of Bermingham Alabama. Two sisters: Ms. Jennifer Johnson of Ocilla Georgia, and Ms. Betty Johnson of Miami Florida.  Aunts: Mrs. Roxie Ross Davis and Mrs. Madelene Georgia both of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Douglas Jermone Johnson Sr.is planned for Saturday May 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from Greater Grace Church 801 East 4th. Street in Ocilla where the pastor Rev. Calvin Ross will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Mr. Johnson will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements for Mr. Douglas Jermone Johnson Sr. Please continur to lift the Johnson and George Families up in prayer.
