Mrs. Alice Lakely Oliver Dunlap

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief to bear.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death and homegoing celebrations for Mrs. Alice Lakely Oliver Dunlap of 55 Moss Street, Douglas Georgia   31533.  Born August 29, 1967, in Ocilla Georgia to the late Mrs. Celo Carver Oliver and the late Mr. Rober (Pete) Oliver.  Mrs. Dunlap received God's call to her eternal home on Wednesday March 11, 2026, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta Georgia surrounded by her loving family.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Mr. Bernard Dunlap of Douglas Georgia.  Their daughter: Ms. Laquecia Duffee of Douglas Georgia.  Their grandchild: Gmorrose Duffee of Douglas Georgia.  Her siblings:  Mr. Tony and Mrs. Jeanette Oliver of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mrs. Lisa and Mr. Eddie Brooks, Mrs. Joann Collins of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Bennie Ruth Gomez of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Jerry Sr. and Mrs. Carolyn Oliver of Douglas Georgia, Mr. Roger and Mrs. Temmie Oliver of Douglas Georgia, Mr. Marcus and Mrs. Glenna Barlow of Atlanta Georgia, and Mrs. Jean Graham of Atlanta Georgia along with a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Alice Oliver Dunlap is planned for Saturday March 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. from the Greater Grace Outreach church 801 East 4th Street Ocilla, where Pastor Calvin Ross serves as pastor.  Bishop Willie F. Mobley pastor of Rise and Shine ministers of Ocilla will deliver the eulogy.  Mrs. Dunlap will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Alice Lakely Oliver Dunlap.
